Documents PNB Housing Requires for a Home Loan:

The application form is different for salaried individuals and self-employed professionals. Available for download at the official PNB Housing finance website, the applicant should duly fill it with valid details and submit it along with the relevant documents.

Age proof 

The applicant must submit identity proof that validates their age, such as Aadhaar Card, Passport, PAN Card, any other certificate from statutory bodies.

Residence proof 

The applicant must submit any of the following documents as address proof – Aadhaar Card, Passport, Driving License, Latest Utility Bills, Ration Card, Voter ID, or Any other Certificate from Statutory Authority.

Education proof 

For self-employed individuals or professionals, the applicant must submit proof of the degree of latest education qualifications.

Income proof

For salaried employees, the latest three months’ salary slips are required as proof of income. Additionally, the applicant also has to submit Form 16 for the last two years.

In the case of self-employed professionals, an applicant will be required to present a certificate and proof of business existence along with a business profile before the bank. 

In addition, they may also have to disclose business financial statements, i.e. profit & loss statements, balance sheets duly certified/audited by a CA. Lastly, the candidate should also submit past three years’ ITR documents (self & business) for loan approval.

Bank statements

In the case of salaried individuals, the bank statement (salary account) for the past six months is required. For self-employed professionals, the last 12 months’ bank statement (self and business) is crucial.

Processing Fee Cheque 

The applicant should draft the cheque in favour of ‘PNB Housing Finance Ltd.’

Property Documents

The applicant will be asked to submit a copy of the property documents to be mortgaged, i.e. the title deed of the property and the approved plan.
